See I don’t think bisexuals are like unicorns, I think we’re more like dinosaurs. Because we know they definitely existed but also there are some people who get really mad and defensive and insist that they didn’t exist and it becomes a whole big thing for them and while everyone else looks on and goes ‘you cannot be serious’ it does do actual societal harm when they spew their crap without any critical discourse around it.
And also we’re terrifying giant lizards.
i can attest to being a terrifying giant lizard, that part is absolutely true.

Mentally ill people are not the problem. Inaccessible, unaffordable health care is the problem. Stigma is the problem. Lack of treatment is a problem. Lack of understanding is the problem. Lack of compassion is the problem. Not taking people seriously is the problem. Lack of honest conversation and open dialogue is a problem. Using jails as a housing facility for mentally ill persons is a problem. Do you understand me. Mentally ill people are not the problem.

Before you start paying attention to anything a prominent white feminist has to say, google “their name + transphobia” and “their name + racism” to see what they have to say about trans women and people of color. 99% of the time, you will save yourself so much time and energy and reading this way. That’s time you could use to do something else like play video games or jack off.
